A Mizukami Auto customer (@hirotonin on Instagram) experienced a terrible situation while driving his S31 Fairlady Z on public roads.

He was severely rear ended by delivery truck and his Z suffered serious damage to the rear right quarter panel and rear panel. 

The car could have been junked and called a total loss but the owner has a lot of sentimental value attached to the car so it was decided that the car would be fixed.

Mizukami auto is one of the few serious shops equipped with a global jig and experienced staff to fix cars damaged this seriously.

The car was mounted to the global jig and all key points of the body were pulled out to factory specifications.

At this point, the repairs and replacements began. 

A complete rear right quarter panel was purchased from Final Heaven and installed to replace the crushed one along with the installation of an OEM rear tail panel and miscellaneous other parts. 

Once the car was completed, it was impossible to tell the car had been in an accident at all.
